Elk Ridge Kindred is an inclusive Heathen Kindred based out of Western Maryland.
We worship and follow the Norse pantheon of gods such as Odin, Thor, Freya, and Frigg.
As Inclusive Heathens we firmly believe that anyone can worship the Norse gods regardless of race, location, ability, sexuality, or identity.
We believe in decolonizing our practices to the best of our abilities and speaking out against the structures of white supremacy wherever we see them.
We openly hail Loki, Fenrir, Hel, Aegir, and other “Jotun” as powerful beings with much to teach and share. We dismiss the belief that these beings are “evil”. In the surviving Lore, the gods ally and even intermarry with the Jotun as need arises.
We are also associated with Frederick CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans.) To connect with FCUUPS and check out their event schedule, which includes our public blots, click here.
